Archaeo-Heritage Film


Archaeo-Heritage Film is a celebration of archaeology and heritage, exploring the good, the bad and the ugly depictions of the past in film. 


The 2024 Bath Archaeo-Heritage Film Festival was hosted at the Little Theatre Cinema and the Museum of Bath at Work. Events included 11 feature films screenings, 22 short films, live score screenings and an Aardman clay workshop.

This film includes an introduction by Monica Wat (Made on the Moon Festival) and a post-film discussion on the history of 'Hopping Vampires', Taoists priests and burial rites in the Qing dynasty.


A Taoist priest and his two disciples pursue a hopping, bloodthirsty vampire who threatens to wreak havoc amongst the human population.


This screening has been made possible by the BFI 'Art of Action' season.
