SILT

SILT is a research studio for ecological image making run by@annachrystal_and@alisonballance.We’re looking at the material, imaginative and economic processes that go into creating images and colour. Central to the studio are questions around how to make critical work in a time of climate devastation, and how to work as an artist with care responsibilities.SILT asks what a sustainable art practice is and to what extent is it possible ecologically, economically and socially.
